Do you know what to expect?

Summer is fast approaching and the team here has been biting at the bit to get the Aporia Agathon Project underway. We’ve released a few teasers here and there, a challenge for our audience to participate in, and we intend to provide a few more before the official launch date of… wait sorry I can’t get into that much detail can I?

So what can you expect out of the Aporia Agathon Project?

First, if you submitted a video in regards to our challenge then you have got mail coming your way. If you didn’t submit a video you still can. Items may differ, but the message of appreciation will remain the same.

You may also be expecting an actual name for the project so that when it comes out you’ll be able to determine which one it is. Well, we’ll be leaving some Easter eggs (how appropriate mentioning that with this upcoming weekend) that will help point out the game(s) you’re looking for.

Be prepared to become involved in the game. We’re working opportunities for players to be able to be socially active through friendly competitions and various collaborative works. You’ll be able to do this separate from the narrative of the game and jointly with the narrative of the game depending on the various scenarios presented. You’ll understand more when the game arrives.

Expect a good interactive fictional narrative with a support system that doesn’t require you to know all of the narrative or even to participate in the narrative. The support system will give you an opportunity to participate in the above mentioned social activities while giving you a unique means of interacting with various characters. We’ve even given a pretty good hint at what this support system is and we hope you enjoy it (hint hunt?).

Those of you who have sent us your mailing address and other contact information should expect to receive some information around the time of the launch. We are not going to label it as game related material nor are we going to have it directly lead to something very mysterious. This stuff you’ll receive will appear ‘fairly’ normal with no particular mysterious nature to it. You may not realize what you have in your hands, but as events develop you’ll begin to understand. So expect to keep your eyes open.

Expect a good support meta system. We will have various means of letting you know what characters are in game (such as after the characters on Youtube were discovered, we subscribed to their accounts with ours) and what sites are in game.

Finally, expect to have fun - we know we will be.
